John A. Ravotti, Sr., 91, of Avon, died Monday, July 1, 2024 at his home. He was born December 26, 1932, in Cleveland, and had lived in Avon many years. John graduated from Boardman High School, Class of 1949. He served in the US Navy from 1953 to 1957. He was employed by Central Exterminating for over 25 years. John dedicated his life to his family and church. He was an avid Cleveland Browns Fan but enjoyed watching all the Cleveland sports teams.He is survived by his wife of 66 years: Janet (nee Mackert) Ravotti; his children: Pearl Ravotti, John (Barbara) Ravotti, Cheryl (Mike) Derryberry, Jacklyn (Dave) Ramsey, and Jerry (Kris) Ravotti; Sisters: Maryann (Mike) Malarcik, Thelma (Michael) Theis, Kathy (David) Perry, and Nancy Ravotti; Brothers; Gregory (Susan) Ravotti, and Frank (Carol) Ravotti.John was preceded in death by his son: Anthony J. Ravotti; 4 Brothers: Joseph, Samuel, James, and George; and 2 Sisters: Lucille Ewing, and Genevieve Rock.Family will receive friends Saturday
