age 73, born Aug 21, 1950, passed away July 18, 2024. Barry Bailus passed away on July 18, 2024 a beautiful summer day, perfect for going to the beach, in his Novato home where he had lived with his wife of 44 years, Karen. Barry grew up in Beachwood, Ohio, youngest of two children of Jack and Gertrude Bailus, he had an older sister, Roberta "Bobbie" whom he was very close with. He began his lifelong sales career at Bobbie Brooks Clothing Company.He will be remembered for the many trips, beach days, picnics, beautiful flowers, funny cards, rock concerts, Sunday BBQ, tie dye shirts, his 440 challenger "Blondie". There was no moments he missed and he took every opportunity to show those around him how much he cared.He was father to Dr. Barbara J Bailus, husband to Karen D. Bailus, and Uncle to Valerie Knight, Todd Mendel and Stuart Mendel as well as Julia Paullus, Lindsey Paullus and Daniel Paullus.
