Memorial Service for Daniel I. King, age 67, will be 11:00 AM, Saturday, August 31, 2024, at St. John Vianney Parish, 7575 Bellflower Road, Mentor (PLEASE MEET AT CHURCH). Family will receive friends Friday from 4:00 until 8:00 PM at the Jakubs-Waite Funeral Home, 36000 Lakeshore Blvd Eastlake. Burial will be private. Dan was born December 20, 1956, in Cleveland to Leroy and Barbara (nee Armstrong) King and passed away peacefully on August 23, 2024, with his family at his side. Dan attended Purdue University, graduated from Cleveland State University and retired as a Chemical Engineer. Dan was a longtime member of the Irish American Club, Eastside, Willoughby Senior Center, CEI Breakfast Club, John Purdue Club, Cleveland Browns Season ticket holder, Cleveland Glasgow Celtic Supporters, Omega Chapter of Pi Kappa Phi and an avid Cleveland Sports fan.
