Roosevelt Kelly was born in Cleveland Ohio on April 24, 1950, and was the only child of Odell Tiller and Eva Mae Kelly.
Roosevelt lived in Ohio, New York, Georgia and found his way back home to Cleveland, Ohio. Roosevelt graduated from East Technical High School, where he ran track and field. While in New York, he worked as a Supervisor for Sears Roebuck. Once he moved to Georgia, Roosevelt was bit by the entrepreneur bug. Here is where he started selling Kirby Vacuums, becoming one of the biggest names throughout South Carolina, Georgia and Alabama. When he relocated to Cleveland, he continued to do what he did best, selling Kirby's. After a few years of selling Kirby's, Kelly was bit by the bug again but this time it was with CBD; having stores in Cleveland, Strongsville, Georgia and pop-up shops in Florida.
