Cindy Marie Smith (née Crabtree), 61, of Willoughby, Ohio, passed away surrounded by her family on March 16, 2025. She was born September 7, 1963, in Walla Walla, Washington, to Irene Crump (née Zahn) and Vincent Crabtree. Cindy worked as a Junior Underwriter at First Catholic Slavok Ladies Association. Cindy was a bright light to all who knew her - she was kind, loving and selfless, and she will be deeply missed. She is survived by her three children: Joseph (Amy) Perez, Nicholas Smith, and Shaley (Caleb) Vahcic; her three grandchildren: Avery, Elijah, and Oliver Perez; and her sister Kathy (Lee) Brulé. A private memorial service will be held by her family this summer. In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to the American Cancer Society.
