Gabriela Laning-Elwell, age 67, of North Ridgeville, Ohio, passed away peacefully at her home on March 18, 2025, surrounded by her loving family and friends. Born on June 24, 1957, in New Castle, Australia, Gabriela was the beloved daughter of the late Elfriede and Hermann Friedrich.
Gabriela is survived by her children, Jeremy (Cortney) Laning and Tracie (William Swann) Laning, and her cherished grandchildren, Liam, Killian, and a baby girl due in June. She also leaves behind many close friends who will miss her dearly.
Gabriela's life was marked by her unwavering love for her family and friends, hairdressing, and a love for children. Gabriela knew how to light up any room she entered. Her generous spirit, as well as her infectious smile and laugh will be remembered by all who knew her.
Visitation will be held at Sunset Memorial Chapel, 6245 Columbia Road, North Olmsted, Ohio 44070 on Saturday, March 29, 2025 from 10:00 a.m. until 12:00 p.m.
