DONALD L SOUNIK, age 71, of Twinsburg, passed away Tuesday, March 18, 2025. Beloved husband to Terri L. (nee Norman); loving dad to Lisa R. Blackrick (DJ), Matthew P. (Elisa), and Samantha N. Norman; cherished grandpa to Ava and Gavin; dearest son of the late Louis Donald and the late Rose N. Sounik (nee Novak); dear brother to James R. (Laura), and the late David F. (Ofelia); caring uncle and great uncle and dear friend to many. Don followed in the footsteps of his father and was a self-employed carpenter. He grew up in a house built by his father and did the same for his own family. A smart and skilled builder of homes, he took great pride in his craftsmanship. He would often joke that he held a Ph.D. in "woodology" due to his passion for carpentry, and his work reflected both his talent and dedication.
